KeyBak.com is an employee owned company that manufactures and distributes key safety and security products. They are most famous for the Original KEY-BAK® Self-Retracting Key Reel. KEY-BAK® came to us to redesign their website. It suffered from poor navigation and confusing product categorization. Think Tank Designs quickly created a new website design and solved the navigational issues.

The client's existing website was no longer representative of their company. They wanted to be able to re-organize their product line which had become confusing and fragmented over the years. They also wanted to make a multiple phase change from an informational site to an ecommerce site.

Think Tank Designs first evaluated the client's existing needs and came up with a comprehensive site plan that involved restructuring portions of their existing site and expanding it to include a newly re-organized product line, news and events section, a downloadable pdf version of their print catalog, along with more appropriate customer management functionality.

This website was built using Joomla!, an open source Content Management System (CMS) framework enabling the client to easily manage their website's content in-house. Once the client is ready for the next phase of the project we will "turn on" the ecommerce portion of the site allowing them to take orders online.
